Albert Herman (30 Sep 1868-28 Jan 1952) married Amanda Marie Johnson (5 Nov 1885-6 Aug 1972). (They were my grandparents and had 5 children. They were divorced in about 1920.) Anna (25 Apr 1870-13 May 1946) married Albert Erickson Larson Tangen (25 Apr 1873-?). Antonette (30 Jun 1872-14 Feb 1963) married Bennie Loe (29 Sep 1874-22 Sep 1957). Iver Amalus (21 Dec 1874-12 Jun 1948) married Marie Bidne (13 May 1879-19 Sep 1963). Henry (27 Jul 1877-16 Jul 1961) married Anna Bue (30 May 1886-25 Aug 1974). Henry always went by the name Hermanson. Emil (30 Oct 1879-10 Sep 1952) never married. Emma Malena (21 May 1882-5 Feb 1974) married Anders (Andrew) Klefstad (7 Jul 1879-11 May 1948). John Adolph (29 Aug 1884-20 Oct 1968) married Elma Helgeland (22 Nov 1886-15 Jan 1956) and also married Gladys Johnson Nyberg (ca. 1907-5 Mar 1963) and had no children. Ida Sophia (18 Oct 1886-30 May 1974) married Thom (Tom) Olai Thompson (29 Aug 1885-13 Oct 1962) and had no children. Sander Tedeman (12 Sep 1889-24 Sep 1974) never married. Mayme Josephine (18 Aug 1892-28 Feb 1982) married Henry Clarence Stoen (25 Oct 1888-13 Mar 1980) and had no children. Johan enlisted in the Civil War under the name John Hermanson. He enlisted at Lansing, IA 12 Aug 1862 and was mustered in at Dubuque, IA 3 Oct 1862 for 3 years in Company B, 27th Regiment, Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He was mustered out 8 Aug 1865 at Clinton, IA. Johan and Anna lived in Waterloo Twp., Allamakee Twp., IA. They are buried at Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery.

Christie married Elling A. Ellingson on 30 Apr 1864. They had 2 children born to them in Iowa before they moved to Texas: Alexander Herman (ca. 1866-?) and Ulysses S. (ca. 1869-?) (They might have had more children that I do not know about yet.)

Former Decorah Sheriff Eugene Allen Simenson was their son. Eli married a second time to Ingebright Pederson (4 Nov 1855-24 Feb 1940). They had 6 children: Ingvald Emil (4 Jan 1878-?); Petra Emilia (28 Nov 1879-19 Apr 1971) married George Blaine Officer (20 Feb 1883-27 May 1971); Nettie Eline (27 Jun 1882-?) married Theodore Schjeldahl on 12 Dec 1912; John Sander (12 Nov 1884-16 Jan 1967) married Synneva Johanna Jossendahl (31 May 1882-31 Mar 1974); Elmer Inman (17 Jul 1889-?); and James Oliver (29 Nov 1891-28 Dec 1951).
